Affiliate Disclaimer & Editorial Independence

Last updated: May 23, 2026

This page explains how Wealth Builder Daily makes money, how we handle affiliate relationships, and how those relationships affect — and don't affect — what you read on the site.

We use affiliate links

Some of the links on Wealth Builder Daily are affiliate links. When you click one and complete a qualifying action — usually opening an account, subscribing to a service, or making a purchase — we may earn a commission. The commission is paid by the company you sign up with, not by you. Your price stays the same whether or not you use our link.

Affiliate revenue, alongside display advertising, is how we keep the site free and pay for the time it takes to research and write the guides.

Categories of products we may link to

We have affiliate or referral relationships, or may form them, with companies in the following categories:

  • High-yield savings accounts and online banks
  • Brokerages and investing platforms
  • Robo-advisors
  • Budgeting apps and personal finance software
  • Credit monitoring and identity protection services
  • Online course platforms covering personal finance topics
  • Tax preparation software
  • Book retailers, for titles we recommend in guides

We do not list every partner publicly, because the list changes as programs open, close, and change terms. If you want to know whether a specific link on the site is an affiliate link, ask us — we'll tell you directly.

Editorial independence

Affiliate relationships do not decide what we cover, how we rate a product, or what we recommend. Editorial decisions are made independently of revenue.

In practice, that means:

  • We will cover a product that doesn't pay us if it's the right answer for readers.
  • We will recommend against a partner product, in writing, if the math doesn't work for the reader.
  • We don't move a product up in a ranking because the commission is higher.
  • We don't accept payment for positive reviews or for specific ratings.

We only recommend tools and services we would actually use, or would have used at an earlier point in our own financial life. If we wouldn't use it ourselves, we don't link to it, even if the affiliate program pays well.

FTC compensation disclosure

In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on the use of endorsements and testimonials in advertising (16 CFR Part 255), Wealth Builder Daily discloses that it has material connections with some of the companies referenced on the site. We may receive financial compensation for actions taken by readers as a result of those references — for example, opening an account or completing a purchase. Where relevant, individual guides also carry a more specific disclosure at the top of the page.

Not financial advice

Even when we link to a product, we are not advising you to buy it. Whether a savings account, brokerage, app, or course is right for you depends on your situation — income, debts, tax picture, risk tolerance, and goals. We don't know those. You do.

Everything on Wealth Builder Daily is educational. Before opening an account or making a financial move, read the product's own terms and, if the decision is large or unfamiliar, talk to a qualified professional.

Advertising

In addition to affiliate links, the site shows display ads through Google AdSense. Ad placements are labeled, and the content of ads is determined by Google, not by us. We do not choose specific advertisers, and the presence of an ad is not an endorsement.

Concerns or corrections

If you think a recommendation on the site is off, a partner product has changed terms, or a disclosure is missing somewhere it should be, tell us. Email our contact form and we'll review and update the page.
